What is Technofest'26?

TechnoFest is an exciting two-day event that will be held on the 13th and14th of February. The event will be packed with innovation, competition, and hands-on opportunities. It will feature three major events: Hackathon, Makeathon, and Formula RC.

Hackathon is a 24-hour software-based event where teams will work non-stop to develop creative and impactful software solutions.
Makeathon is a 24-hour hardware-based competition that will challenge teams to design and create innovative physical products.
Formula RC is an F1-style racing event, where teams will race their pre-built RC cars around a track.

Throughout TechnoFest, we will also have mini-events that offer teams opportunities to earn extra points, adding an extra layer of excitement and competition.

Prizes worth more than ₹1 Lakh await the winning teams!

Whether you are innovating in software, hardware, or racing, TechnoFest will be an unforgettable experience!

Formula RC

A car racing event, running alongside the Hackathon and Makeathon, Formula RC is not a 24-hour competition and teams are free to depart once the event concludes.

Participating teams must arrive with their pre-built RC cars. Prior experience in building RC cars is not required, as a wide range of online resources, tutorials, and instructional videos are available to assist newcomers.

The event is open to all participants, and attendees are invited to take part in an exciting and engaging racing experience as part of this dynamic series of events.

Makeathon

Makeathon is a 24-hour product design competition, where teams develop innovative solutions across six themes: Pawsome Technology, Financial Tech, Fashion Tech, Skyhackers, Choremaster, and Gamenise.

Participants will have access to essential fabrication tools, including a table saw, band saw, jig saw, mitre saw, pillar drill, tenon saw, wood planer, and scroll saw, to build their prototypes.

The event features three audit sessions during which teams present their progress for evaluation based on defined rubrics. After each audit, the top 10 teams will advance to present their products to the judges.

At the end of the competition, the top three teams will receive cash prizes, making this an excellent opportunity to transform ideas into impactful solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
