The Most Memorable STEM Event of the Year
Founded in 2018 as an initiative by Grade 11 students, the Stonehill Science Bowl evolved from a school quiz into a signature academic event in Bangalore that inspires critical thinking, healthy competition, collaboration and global scientific exchange. Now known as the Stonehill STEM Bowl, it is still driven and organised by the passionate scientists of Grade 11.
For 2026, the competition is taking a new direction.
The Stonehill STEM Bowl 2026 will expand beyond its original focus on Science, with Mathematics becoming a major part of the competition alongside Science. We are excited to bring together students from different schools for a day of scientific thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and friendly competition.
To enhance the exchange of ideas and foster a healthy competition, both the High School and Middle School competitions will be on campus at Stonehill on Friday, 20th November, 2026.
This gives the participants the opportunity to compete face-to-face through exciting rounds that challenge their scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork.
While the competition will be held in person, we are happy to accommodate teams traveling from outside Bangalore, across India, and internationally.
