Stonehill Hackathon 2023

Stonehill Hackathon is an event where students come together to collaboratively work on solving a specific problem or developing a new product or service within a specified time. The fourth  annual Stonehill Hackathon will be held on the 29th and 30th of April, 2023. In this 24-hour long competition students will be encouraged to brainstorm and develop creative solutions to real world problems.

What happens during the event:

• The event will start at 9:00 am on the 29th of April and will end by 4 pm on the 30th of April.

• The participants will be divided into groups of 2 to 5 members and will start working on their selected theme.

• The students will start on Saturday, the 29th of April at 9 am and continue overnight for 24 hours.

• On Sunday morning, around 9:00 am, a group of students and teachers will analyse the projects and the first interview will take place thereafter. Following this, the top five contenders will be selected.

• The top three finalists for each of the categories will be revealed at time of presentation to the Judges.

• The top three contenders will pitch their products along with a presentation.

• The judges will finalise the winners based on specific criteria.
