Stonehill Hackathon 2023
Hackathon is a design sprint-like event, in which computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, domain experts, and others collaborate intensively on software projects. The students will be judged on their creativity, innovation and feasibility of the created products.
Event Information
Stonehill Hackathon is an event where students come together to collaboratively work on solving a specific problem or developing a new product or service within a specified time. The fourth annual Stonehill Hackathon will be held on the 29th and 30th of April, 2023. In this 24-hour long competition students will be encouraged to brainstorm and develop creative solutions to real world problems.
What happens during the event:

The event will start at 9:00 am on the 29th of April and will end by 4 pm on the 30th of April.

The participants will be divided into groups of 2 to 5 members and will start working on their selected theme.

The students will start on Saturday, the 29th of April at 9 am and continue overnight for 24 hours.

On Sunday morning, around 9:00 am, a group of students and teachers will analyse the projects and the first interview will take place thereafter. Following this, the top five contenders will be selected.

The top three finalists for each of the categories will be revealed at time of presentation to the Judges.

The top three contenders will pitch their products along with a presentation.

The judges will finalise the winners based on specific criteria.
