The Digital Citizenship (DC) team is made up of the whole school IT coordinator, the librarian and the school counsellor. This team has developed expectations for each grade using internationally recognised organisations such as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Grade teams work with the DC team to plan and implement a programme that is contextually-based, embedded in the programme of inquiry and relevant to the individual needs of learners.
Our Makerspace supports the philosophy of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics), providing opportunities for learners to collaborate, use data in real-world situations, use higher order thinking, design and innovate, and be challenged.
