ETEducation InspirED Summit

By Bakyaraj Rajendran and Naveen Kumar
IT Department
We recently had the opportunity to attend a Professional Development (PD) workshop, and it was an enriching experience. The event brought together professionals from different fields, providing a chance to learn, network, and grow.

The sessions were both insightful and practical, covering a wide range of topics relevant to today’s fast-changing workplace. From exploring the latest tools in digital technology to learning about effective leadership strategies, the workshop offered valuable knowledge that we are excited to apply in our work.

Keynote Insights

One of the highlights of the event was the chance to engage with industry experts and fellow participants. Networking with people from various backgrounds helped us gain new perspectives and ideas. It also opened doors to potential collaborations and future opportunities.

Engaging Breakout Sessions

The breakout sessions offered a deep dive into specialised topics, allowing attendees to engage in meaningful discussions and hands-on activities. From emerging technologies to effective leadership techniques, each session provided practical knowledge applicable to real-world scenarios.

Embracing Technological Innovation

A major takeaway from ETInspirED was the emphasis on integrating technology to drive innovation. The sessions explored the role of AI, digital transformation, and data analytics in shaping the future of various industries. Learning about cutting-edge tools and strategies reinforced the importance of staying updated on technological advancements.

The Power of Networking

Networking was another significant aspect of the event. Engaging with professionals from diverse backgrounds fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange, opening doors to potential partnerships and future opportunities. Including a group photo or a candid networking moment would further emphasize the connections made.

Final Thoughts

Overall, attending this PD workshop was a great reminder of the importance of continuous learning and professional growth. We left feeling inspired and eager to implement the strategies and insights we gained.

As an Education Technology lead, one of my biggest concerns and hopes lies in preparing students for a future we can't fully predict. On March 28th 2025, I had the opportunity to attend the third edition of Embassy REIT’s Occupier Connect 2025, an event that brought together visionary leaders from across industries to discuss the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping our work and lives.

On Saturday, the 5th of April, some of our passionate EY team—Zaryn, Neirillu, and Geeta—and our Primary Principal Peter Spratling and I, had the privilege of attending the Best Practice in the Early Years Conference at TISB, led by Dr. Alistair Bryce-Clegg—renowned early years expert, storyteller, and the creative mind behind ABC Does Ltd. His session was nothing short of electric: funny, insightful, and deeply affirming.
