Sports Tournaments 2025 -26

Our High School Cricket team represented Stonehill at the ISACI High School Cricket Championship hosted by the International School of Hyderabad. Competing against strong opposition from the ISACI member schools, the team delivered a commendable performance and finished 3rd overall. 

Stonehill delivered an outstanding two-day ISACI tournament in Delhi, with strong performances in both football and swimming. In football, the girls bagged an impressive 4-1 win against The British School Delhi, while the boys followed with two wins (2-1 vs TBS and 3-1 vs Mahindra International School). The girls finished as runners-up, narrowly losing in a penalty shootout in the finals, showing excellent teamwork and significant improvement throughout. The boys were crowned champions, winning all their matches, including a dominant 3–0 victory in the final. 

The swimming team also impressed, collecting 22 medals on the opening day. By the end of the tournament, the swimming team amassed 47 medals (6 Gold, 22 Silver, 19 Bronze), with Taesu, Smilla, Avyaan, Miyu, and Aeden receiving Sportsmanship Awards.

Sportsmanship Awards were presented to Naisha and Sarah Nakasone (girls) and Kishin and Shayne (boys). Overall, a highly successful tournament, reflecting great progress, resilience, and teamwork from all our student-athletes.

Our Stonehill Tigers travelled to Mahindra International School, Pune for the ISACI Middle School Basketball Championship. The Girls Team defeated MIS 9–5 in the playoff, showing great determination, teamwork, and steady improvement throughout the tournament.

The Boys team emerged as ISACI Champions 2025, winning the final against The British School, New Delhi with an impressive score of 38–19. 

Stonehill International School participated in the BAASC PYP Co-Educational Football Tournament hosted by Canadian International School. Stonehill fielded two teams, SIS A and SIS B, both demonstrating strong effort, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. SIS B bagged a 1–0 victory against CIS A, showing excellent defensive organisation, while SIS A produced an impressive attacking performance in their 4–0 win against BIS A. 

Stonehill hosted the U11 BAASC Basketball Tournament, welcoming 18 teams from 6 BAASC member Schools for an exciting and energetic day of basketball.

The Stonehill boys’ team got off to a fantastic start, winning both of their group games against Legacy School Board and Trio World Academy to bag a place in the semi-finals. In the semi-final, they came up against Trio World Academy and, despite a determined performance, were unable to progress further. What stood out most was their resilience, they stayed committed, supported each other, and continued to compete right until the final buzzer. Over the course of the tournament, it was great to see their growing confidence, improved teamwork, and better decision making on the court.

The Stonehill girls’ team also started brightly, winning their group matches against Trio World Academy and Canadian International School to move into the semi finals. They carried this momentum forward with a strong performance to overcome CIS and reach the final. The final against TRIO was a thrilling, back and forth game, with both teams giving their all. The girls showed excellent composure and teamwork, staying calm under pressure and making smart decisions in key moments. Their effort and determination paid off as they emerged as U11 BAASC Champions 2025/26.

Our Stonehill Tigers achieved a total of 31 medals, including 8 gold, 14 silver and 9 bronze, in the BAASC Athletics tournaments 2026, held at Bangalore International School.

Our PYP swim team emerged overall champions in the BAASC swimming competition for both age categories: U-9 and U-11. This accomplishment is a testament to the learners’ dedication, discipline, and consistent effort.

Our school proudly sent three Under 11 teams, two boys’ teams and one girls’ team, to Oasis International School to compete in the BAASC tournament. Throughout the day, students demonstrated that they were communicators, risk-takers, and principled as they worked together and played with fairness and respect. They showed strong teamwork, communication, self-management, and resilience, especially during challenging moments. The students represented our school with pride and enthusiasm, making it an exciting and valuable learning experience for all involved.

The Stonehill team finished as runners up, displaying strength and skill on the pitch, in the BAASC U-9 Football tournament, held at TRIO World Academy, Bangalore.

In the BAASC High School Girls and Boys Football League Games, the Stonehill team had a face off with Legacy School and Bangalore International School, displaying team spirit, sportsmanship and skills on the ground.

Our Stonehill Tigers took on Oasis International School and Trio World Academy, in the BAASC Middle School Girls and Boys Basketball League Games. They showcased their mettle, grit and competitiveness.
