Current happening at STONEHILL

2018 MYP Personal Project Exhibition

Since the beginning of this academic year, M5 students have been working on a project of their choice, focusing on a variety of subjects, such as technology, sustainability, service or the creative arts. An Exhibition of this learning was held this week at Stonehill.

The MYP Personal Project is a student-centred and age-appropriate practical exploration in which students consolidate their learning throughout the programme. It formally assesses students’ ATL skills for self-management, research, communication, collaboration and critical and creative thinking. The personal project encourages students to connect classroom learning engagements with personal experience, and to develop their own interests for lifelong learning.

The presentation was interesting, informative and engaging with students talking about their experiences and discoveries throughout this journey. The presentation also included some wonderful musical performances by the M5 students. We very proud of our knowledgeable, caring, confident and responsible global citizens for their commitment and hard work throughout this process.

We would like to say a special thank you to Mr. Jiten for leading this process and for mentoring the students
